SLIPS, TRIPS, and FALLS International Conference to take place June 15 & 16, 2017 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hosted by iDAPT Centre for Rehabilitation Research, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute-UHN, this 2 day international conference will highlight the latest in slips, trips, and falls research and products. Presentations, workshops and panel discussions will include topics such as slip resistance evaluation, flooring and material development, falls from heights, and the design of stairs, handrails, ramps, bathtubs, sidewalks, and other environmental features. Key themes will include:

Measurement principles and technology Human/behavioural factors Architectural design Cleaning Footwear National and International safety standards
